The sequence of roads scheduled for micro-surface paving has been updated. The list below is the current schedule.

Original release:

Micro-surface paving starts this weekend on several county roads. This preventive maintenance surface treatment must be applied when the weather is dry. Much of this work will be done over a weekend to reduce disruption to traffic and adjacent properties. The approved work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Washington County and its contractor, VSS International, are working together to make sure traffic moves as smoothly as possible through this necessary but inconvenient work. The current schedule is:

Saturday, September 7, 2013
Butner Road from Huntington Avenue to Murray Boulevard
McDaniel Road from the Multnomah County line to 119th Avenue
Johnson Street from barricade at east end to 178th Avenue

Sunday, September 8, 2013
Shaw Street from 160th Avenue to 198th Avenue
Kinnaman Road from 185th Avenue to 198th Avenue

Monday, September 9, 2013
Shaw Street from 160th Avenue to 198th Avenue

Tuesday, September 10, 2013
190th Avenue from Kemmer Road to Gassner Road
Uplands Drive from Roshak Road to Snapdragon Lane
Taylors Ferry Road from 80th Avenue to Washington Drive
Locust Street from 80th Avenue to Hall Boulevard
Bull Mountain Road from Roshak Road to Roy Rogers Road

Advisory signs will be posted before the work starts. Roads will remain open during the work, but may be limited to one-way traffic controlled by flaggers. Expect up to 15-minute delays. Use alternate routes if possible.

Schedules may change due to weather, equipment breakdown, availability of materials, or other conditions. Current road work schedules are posted on the Washington County Roads web site at www.wc-roads.com.
