Washington County's Department of Land Use and Transportation will need to extend the closure of Old Highway 47 at Scoggins Creek for up to two additional weeks in order to complete the replacement of the bridge over Scoggins Creek, located between Scoggins Valley Road and Fluke Drive.

The road was originally scheduled to reopen by October 29. It will now reopen by November 15, 2013.

During the closure, all traffic, including pedestrians and bicyclists, is being detoured to Scoggins Valley Road and Highway 47. Detour signs have been provided along the designated detour route. (Detour Map)

This project is funded through the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Highway Bridge Program.
