URMDAC has four new members

Four new members attended their first Washington County Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) on Jan. 15.

Four new members attended their first Washington County Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) meeting on Jan. 15.

  • Bhaskar Aluru is a business development manager for ZynoSoft Inc., a software development company. He is in his second term as Community Participation Organization (CPO) 7 vice chair.
  • Melissa Laird is a retired Intel employee with nearly 25 years of leadership and management experience. She is an Oregon Humane Society volunteer, participating in dog transfers and rescues.
  • Richard Steinbrugge is retired from Beaverton School District and the Navy Civil Engineer Corps. He is a 20-year resident of Washington County and is a member of the Portland Public Schools Bond Advisory Committee.
  • Joe Wisniewski recently moved to Washington County from Michigan, where he worked for a county road agency in maintenance and engineering. He served on several Michigan County Road Association committees and chaired the County Engineers Workshop.

The Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) works with County staff and advises the Board of Commissioners on issues related to services provided by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD).  See URMD Map

URMDAC meets 4-6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of most months at the Washington County Walnut Street Center, 1400 SW Walnut St.   Learn more
