Washington County to host Bonny Slope West Open House on January 26 2015

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, January 20, 2015

Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation will host a Bonny Slope West Community Planning open house on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Jacob Wismer Elementary School, 5477 NW Skycrest Parkway, Portland.

The public is invited to stop in any time between 5 and 7:30 p.m. No formal presentations are planned. County staff will be on hand to discuss the community plan's elements and next steps for the planning process.

Washington County is developing a community plan to guide future urban development in this 160-acre area. The project timeline calls for presentation of a draft community plan to the Washington County Planning Commission for public hearings in summer 2015 and to the Washington County Board of Commissioners for public hearings and potential plan adoption in fall 2015.
