Washington County hosts Development Forum October 30 2014

Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation will host its fall Development Forum from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the cafeteria of the Public Services Building, 155 N First Avenue in Hillsboro. 

Development Forums provide an opportunity for customers in the development and building industries to learn more about Washington County's development-related services, initiatives, and processing timelines. They are also an opportunity to network and provide valuable input. 

Featured topics on the upcoming Development Forum agenda include: 

• Successfully navigating the permitting process – from preliminary land use approval to obtaining the right permits to begin construction

• Introductions to Washington County's new Building Official, Long Range Principal Transportation Planner, and Plan Review Engineer
