The Board of Commissioners appointed one new member to the Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) and reappointed three others at their meeting Nov. 7.
- Pete Parmenter was appointed to his first term on URMDAC. He works as an auditor for a utility company. He has previous experience working with state and local government.
- Melissa Laird is a retired Intel employee who has been a Washington County resident for 40 years. She has been on URMDAC since 2020 and was reappointed for another term.
- Dick Steinbrugge is a retired civil engineer who served for 26 years in the Navy Environmental Protection Program. He was reappointed after joining URMDAC in 2020.
- Joe Wisniewski works as Tigard’s City Engineer. He was reappointed to URMDAC after joining in 2020.
Members serve on URMDAC in four-year terms. They are limited to two terms. The committee has vacancies and is accepting applications.
URMDAC advises the Board of County Commissioners on the services provided by the Urban Road Maintenance District. URMDAC usually meets from 3:45-5:45 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every other month. Meetings are hybrid on Zoom and in person at the Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building.
