WCPH Bridge Strategic Plan

WCPH did a refresh of our 2017-2023 Strategic Plan in 2024. This “bridge plan” outlines our strategic priorities for the next 12-18 months. The Public Health Division will be engaging in a formal strategic planning process in 2026. This process will allow us to align our work with several key Division plans we’re currently developing outlining how we as a local public health authority will be implementing the state’s framework for a modernized governmental public health system.

The original plan for fiscal years 2017-2023 is available below.

Through this plan we intend to achieve measurable improvement in critical public health areas. The strategic priority areas are both internally and externally focused, ensuring continuous quality improvement across the division and the provision of needed services and activities to meet the community's needs. We plan to increase our cross-program initiatives and to work more effectively with community partners. It is through these activities that we will more successfully improve the health of our community.
