Learn about Walker Road construction at an open house on May 18

Learn about construction starting soon on Walker Road at an open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the Dryland Meeting Room at THPRD Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex, 15707 SW Walker Road.

Walker Road, between Schendel Avenue and Butner Road, will be wided to five lanes (two travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane) with bike lanes and sidewalks.

A city of Beaverton waterline will be installed between Schendel and 150th avenues as as part of the project. 

Utility relocation has begun. Construction will start in late May and continue through December 2024.
