Nonprofits and charitable institutions with rental property affordable to households at 60% MFI and under, located in unincorporated Washington County, may be eligible for property tax exemption. The annual application process for property tax exemption is currently open starting February 1 and closes March 1. Download the 2023 application here. Participation by HAWC or its wholly owned affiliate in a Limited Partnership may make property eligible for ad valorem tax exemption pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 307.092.
