Original release:

The National Weather Service warns that snow will continue through Tuesday morning, effecting the morning commute. One to two inches of snow may accumulate above 500-foot elevations. Locations below 500 feet may get a quick inch of snow if a shower passes over the area, but other locations may get no accumulations.

Snow mixed with rain can create dangerous driving conditions. Use extra caution and increase your following distance. Travelers should pay attention to updated weather forecasts and be prepared for wintry driving conditions.

Washington County road crews have been plowing snow from roads at higher elevations and are responding to other weather-related issues. Watch the Washington County Roads website for updates on road impacts.
