Be prepared for snowy road conditions

Snow levels may lower to the valley floor late tonight and continue into the Wednesday morning commute. After 9 a.m., the precipitation will turn to all rain.

The National Weather Service warns that snow will continue through Tuesday morning, effecting the morning commute. One to two inches of snow may accumulate above 500-foot elevations. Locations below 500 feet may get a quick inch of snow if a shower passes over the area, but other locations may get no accumulations.

Snow mixed with rain can create dangerous driving conditions. Use extra caution and increase your following distance. Travelers should pay attention to updated weather forecasts and be prepared for wintry driving conditions.
