Public invited to comment on URMD Safety Improvement candidates

The public is invited to comment on the top URMD Safety Improvement candidates being considered for funding in 2017-18. Comments submitted by Nov. 11 will be reviewed by the selection committee

Public comment on the top safety improvement candidates being considered for funding in 2017-18 is being solicited by Washington County's Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee.

Comments will be accepted through Nov. 11. Candidates can be reviewed and comments entered on the interactive map.

The committee will review comments on Nov. 16 and then recommend projects to the Washington County Board of Commissioners to be included in URMD's 2017-18 budget.

Community organizations interested in hosting a presentation about the URMD Safety Improvement Program and candidates in their area are encouraged to contact the Operations and Maintenance Division.
