170th Avenue (Merlo Road and Alexander Street)

170th Avenue will be improved between Alexander Street and Merlo Road. This project is funded for design only.

We will analyze design options to determine how many vehicle lanes are needed (three, four or five) We will also consider if a traffic signal or a roundabout is best suited for the 170th Avenue and Merlo Road intersection.

The proposed design will include bike lanes, sidewalks, a bridge over Beaverton Creek and pedestrian crossing at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park.
