We are designing improvements for 170th Avenue, including:
- Replacing the bridge over Beaverton Creek
- Adding a center turn lane
- Installing bike lanes
- Installing sidewalks
We are also considering a traffic signal at Augusta Lane and pedestrian crossing signal at either Vendla Park Lane or Johnson Street.
The project team is working with Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District to minimize the impacts to the park and improve the entrance on 170th Avenue.

6/8/2026: The project team is looking for grant funding opportunities. Design has resumed.
An open house is being planned for this coming fall or winter.
