Alexander Street (178th Avenue to 192nd Avenue)

Alexander Street will be improved with sidewalks and bike/pedestrian crossing at 185th Avenue.

Alexander Street is in unincorporated Aloha, north of TV Highway. This street provides a slower travel option that is preferable for pedestrians and cyclists.

Improvements will include:

  • Add street markings for shared pedestrian and vehicle lanes
  • Install alternate parallel parking and landscaping on both sides of the street
  • Sidewalks on both sides of the street
  • Upgrade stormwater drainage
  • Install a bike/pedestrian crossing signal at the 185th Avenue and Alexander Street intersection
  • In-fill sidewalk between 192nd and 202nd avenues creating a complete sidewalk connection west to 209th Avenue (added summer 2025, details below)
