Alexander Street is in unincorporated Aloha, north of TV Highway. This street provides a slower travel option that is preferable for pedestrians and cyclists.
Improvements will include:
- Add street markings for shared pedestrian and vehicle lanes
- Install alternate parallel parking and landscaping on both sides of the street
- Sidewalks on both sides of the street
- Upgrade stormwater drainage
- Install a bike/pedestrian crossing signal at the 185th Avenue and Alexander Street intersection
- In-fill sidewalk between 192nd and 202nd avenues creating a complete sidewalk connection west to 209th Avenue (added summer 2025, details below)

Alexander Street sidewalk infill
During the summer of 2025, the County Engineer directed staff to include in-fill sidewalk between 192nd and 202nd avenues to create a sidewalk connection west to 209th Avenue. Information about the project was mailed to impacted property owners in October.
