We will improve Blanton Street, between 198th and 209th avenues, with:
- A 14-food-wide multiuse (bike and pedestrian) path on the north side of the street
- A buffered bike lane and 7.5-foot-wide sidewalk on the south side of the street
- Improved streetlighting and storm water drainage
- Connections to existing sidewalks
- A design that matches completed improvements on 209th Avenue

Update
9/28/2026: The contractor is installing sidewalk and curbs. Milling and paving is scheduled to start next week and last 4-6 days. Striping will be scheduled about two weeks after paving is complete.
Construction is expected to wrap up at the end of October.
