We are widening intersection to keep up with increasing traffic from bicycles, pedestrians and vehicles.
This includes:
- Adding dedicated turn lanes from southbound 25th Avenue onto Cornell Road
- Adding bicycle lanes
- Updating street lights and traffic signals
Construction start (expected): Summer 2024
Construction finish (expected): Summer 2025
Update
4/4/2024: The airport sign has been removed so that utility relocations can begin.
We are planning a construction kickoff open house for 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 13.
Construction will start this summer.
