Patton Valley Road, between SW Bates and SW Dundee roads, will be down to one lane of traffic from July 27-Aug. 21 for replacement of an undersized culvert in poor condition.
The 30-inch culvert will be replaced by a 72-by-48-inch reinforced concrete box culvert. The new culvert will provide better water flow and allow passage for native migratory fish. This project also includes stream dredging to further reduce the frequency of flooding on Patton Valley Road. City of Hillsboro waterline improvements will also be made.
