Update

5/30/2025: The design for the improvements planned on Tile Flat Road from Scholls Ferry Road to the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) is on hold as Washington County and Beaverton staff consider the scope of the project.

The project’s goal is to improve Tile Flat Road from Scholls Ferry to the UGB. When the project first began, the UGB ended at Kobbe Road. Since then, the UGB was expanded to Grabhorn Road. The UGB expansion increased the scope of the work, which had not been factored into our initial plans and estimates. Moving forward with the expanded scope would require action from the Washington County Board of Commissioners.

Additionally, many of the planned improvements to Tile Flat Road have been completed or are planned to be completed in relation to developments permitted by the City of Beaverton.

This project is funded in partnership with the City of Beaverton. City and County staff are considering how best to proceed.
