Family Caregiver Conference

An annual conference (or series of smaller events) to support and honor unpaid family and friend caregivers.

Conversations in Caregiving: A Family Caregiver Conference

This year, we are partnering with Providence ElderPlace and Laurel Parc to offer a free full-day conference on October 16, 2024. It will take place from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Laurel Parc, 15850 NW Central Drive, Portland 97229. Sessions will cover connection in caregiving, functional home safety, creating mindful self-care, and Medicare/Medicaid/PACE model of care. This is a dedicated gathering to empower, educate and uplift unpaid family caregivers in Washington County. Whether you are new to caregiving or you have been on this journey for years, this unique opportunity is for ALL unpaid care partners to connect, learn and share experiences. Register on Eventbrite. You can also email or call Jenn Fifer to register and ask questions. She can be reached at [email protected] and 971-271-2027.

About the annual conference

Held every year in or around November, this event (or series of smaller events) provides a safe and welcoming space for caregivers to come together to connect with one another, learn new skills and find valuable community resources.

If you have an idea for future conferences or you are interested in presenting a workshop, please reach out via email to [email protected].
