Washington County Public Health’s (WCPH) Communicable Disease program works closely with schools, daycares, camps and other childcare facilities to prevent the start and spread of infectious diseases among staff and attendees.

Families can help prevent the spread of illness by encouraging regular handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, staying up to date with immunizations, and staying home when sick.
