Voucher Payment Standards by bedroom size:

Voucher Payment Standards

Affordable vs. Market payment standards depend on if the landlord or property receives public funding to supplement rents.  An example of an Affordable building would be a tax credit property or one owned by the housing authority.

Households are eligible for a specific voucher size based on their household composition or an approved reasonable accommodation.  If a household rents a unit smaller than their eligible size, they will utilize the payment standard for the lower unit. If a household rents a unit larger than their eligible size, the payment standard would cap at their eligible size.
