Development Review/Current Planning

We work with developers, consultants and the public to make sure work is done safely and correctly. We review all development proposals to make sure they meet requirements in the Community Development Code, which regulates land use and development activities in unincorporated Washington County.

Warning: Scam Targeting Washington County Permit Applicants

Washington County has had reports of scammers sending fraudulent emails asking customers to wire money for project approval. Washington County will never request wire transfers for permits or payments.

If you receive an unexpected payment request, do not respond. Call 503-846-3470 to verify.
