The Washington County Department of Housing Services (DHS) offers a wide variety of housing options to qualified applicants:

Project-Based Voucher awards

The Department of Housing Services periodically offers property owners the opportunity to submit proposals for Project-Based Voucher (PBV) assistance.

Affordable housing

The Department of Housing Services also owns Affordable Housing located throughout Washington County, including a rural development project in North Plains called Kaybern Terrrace.

Homeless resources

The Department of Housing Services is the lead agency for the A Road Home: Washington County's 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness.

The Department of Housing Services does not offer emergency assistance; however, there are community resources that may be able to offer assistance.
