Change of Address

The following waiting lists are CLOSED:

Check your application status

Current Applicants may check their status these three ways. Please be aware that we only provide information about the status of applications (active or inactive). We do not provide information about applicants' position on the waiting list or the estimated wait time.

Report changes

Applicants who have already applied for rental assistance must report changes, in writing, as they occur. To report a change, download the Update Application or login online at portal.wchousingauthority.org.

Note: Applicants must report changes in mailing address. If we mail you a notice and it is returned undeliverable by the post office, your name will be removed from all waiting lists.

Project-based voucher sites

Below is a description of the properties where Project-Based Voucher assistance is offered:

  • Alma Gardens - 1-bedroom apartments located in Hillsboro, Oregon. Age 55+.Preference for extremely low-income households. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Barcelona - 1-bedroom units located in Beaverton. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference is given to Extremely Low-Income households (at or below 30% of the Area Median Income, currently $15,700 annually for a 1-person household). Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Bridge Meadows - Bridge Meadows offers 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units for elders (age 55+) and units for families. Elders who are willing to provide at least 100 hours of volunteer service, and families who are in the process of adopting or securing permanent guardianship of at least three (3) foster children within four years, receive preference on the waiting list for units in this community. Project-Based Voucher assistance at Bridge Meadows is targeted to households with extremely low-income (at or below 30% of Area Median Income for Washington County). Extremely low-income households will be screened prior to those with higher incomes. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Cedar Grove Apartments - Studio 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units located in Beaverton, Oregon. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Cornelius Place - 0- and 1-bedroom units located in Cornelius, Oregon. Residents pay rent based on income. Head of Household must be age 55+. Extremely Low-Income households will be screened prior to those with higher incomes. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • FirCrest Manor - 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units located in Beaverton, Oregon. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference is given to Extremely Low-Income households (at or below 30% of the Area Median Income, currently $24,600 for a 4-person household). Waiting list CLOSED.
  • General Project Based Voucher Waiting list - A variety of properties in Washington County serving 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference is given to Extremely Low-Income households.  Unit selection is based on availability and applicants will be selected for first available unit across the General PBV Portfolio. 
    • Aloha Park: 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units in Beaverton, Oregon
    • Bonita Villa: 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units in Tigard, Oregon
    • The Ridge at Bull Mountain: 1- and 2-bedroom units in Tigard, Oregon
    • Villager: 3-bedroom units in Forest Grove, Oregon
  • Mary Ann – 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units located in Beaverton, Oregon. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference is given to Extremely Low-Income households (at or below 30% of the Area Median Income, currently $20,300 for a 1-person household). Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Orchards at Orenco I, II & III – 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments located in Hillsboro, Oregon. Preference for extremely low-income households. Waiting list OPEN until June 12, 2023.
  • PLUSS Apartments - Single Room Occupancy or "SRO" a room for a single person with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Units are located in Tigard, Oregon. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference given to applicants with a special need for mental health services. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Pomeroy Place - 2- and 3-bedroom units located in Aloha, Oregon. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference is given to Extremely Low-Income households (at or below 30% of the Area Median Income, currently $26,350 for a 4-person household) that include at least one adult U. S. Military Veteran. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Red Rock Creek Commons - 1-bedroom units located in Tigard, Oregon. Preferences given for households indicating need for mental health services. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Sunset View - 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms located in Beaverton, Oregon. Preference for extremely low-income households. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Tom Brewer House - Drug-free housing located in Beaverton, Oregon. Single Room Occupancy or "SRO" a room for a single person with a shared bathroom and kitchen, studio and 1-bedroom units. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference given to applicants who are homeless with a need for substance abuse/mental health services. Waiting list CLOSED.
  • Viewfinder - 1- and 2-bedroom units located in Tigard, Oregon. Residents pay rent based on income. Preference is given to Extremely Low-Income households (at or below 30% of the Area Median Income, currently $20,300 for a 1-person household). Waiting list OPEN.

Be aware that these properties also have units without Project-Based Voucher assistance. To apply for units without assistance, you must contact the property manager and go through their application process.

Emergency assistance

The Department of Housing Services does not have any emergency assistance programs. However, there are other agencies and organizations in the community that may be able to help you.

If you are homeless, or at immediate risk of becoming homeless, you can be screened for assistance through Community Connect - 503-640-3263.
