Washington County elections officials have received 152,839 ballots as of 5 p.m. today, or about 57 percent of all registered voters in the county. Elections officials expect to receive over 60,000 more ballots from Washington County voters by 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Washington County elections officials are asking last-minute voters to drop off their ballots well before 8 p.m. Tuesday at official collection sites, including a site in the K-Mart parking lot near the County Elections building at the intersection of S.W. Tualatin Valley Highway (Highway 8) and S.W. Murray Boulevard in Beaverton. Commuters are asked to avoid the area if possible.

Washington County elections officials are encouraging voters to drop ballots off as soon as possible for Tuesday’s primary election so that all ballots are processed in a timely manner. The Elections Office will offer extra hours on Saturday and two days of drive-through service on Monday and Tuesday.

Washington County ballots include a printing error for the election of Judge of the Circuit Court 20th District. Despite the printing error, all ballots are valid. If a voter casts a ballot in the election for Judge of the Circuit Court 20th District, their vote will count.

Property owners in Washington County should disregard a mailing from an alleged company in Grand Hills, California, asking for payment in order to "request a property tax reassessment."
