Telecommuting and Alternative Work Schedules

Telecommuting and alternative work schedules facilitate sustainability through reduced commuting miles, resource conservation, and supporting a healthy environment.

Many County employees are continuing to work from home – at least part of the time.  Telecommuting is a great way to reduce commuting impacts, save resources, and promote a healthy environment.  The County’s Telecommuting and Alternative Work Schedules policies and procedures support this effort.

Telecommuting is not a benefit given to all.  Employees may work with their managers to determine if they are eligible.  Below are some resources to help employees stay healthy and well while working from home:
