Brokerage Choice
Brokerages are another choice for case management for adults who live in their own home or with their family. Brokerages help people plan for the supports they need to live in their community.
Brokerages are private organizations providing high quality case management and in-home and community-based services to adult Oregonians with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). All brokerages are governed by boards/advisory groups comprised primarily of people with I/DD and their families.
Brokerage services are provided by a Brokerage Personal Agent. A personal agent works with the person to create a plan for the life they want based on their needs. The personal agent also helps the person get the tools to make their plan happen.
