We are already experiencing the impacts of climate change in Washington County. The health impacts of climate change will affect us all and will have greater impact on disadvantaged communities. Climate change can impact health by threatening the systems we depend on – our air, water, food and shelter. The role of the Climate and Health team at Washington County is to help our communities become more resilient to climate change, better protecting our health.
