The Office of Community Development manages the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) for Washington County. Both programs are funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Federal regulations associated with these programs mandate the undertaking of several planning processes, which result in the preparation of specific planning documents.
Planning
HUD requires Washington County, OR to prepare a Consolidated Plan, Fair Housing Plan and a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report. Plans are available online or through Washington County Office of Community Development staff.
