Project Dox offline from will be offline from 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, until 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, for an upgrade of our new online application submittal portal.
Once ProjectDox is offline, neither you nor Washington County staff will have access to the site. We will not be able to provide any related customer support until the system is back online.
Our new Building and Development Applications Services (BDAS) portal will be live starting 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16. This new portal will allow you to submit certain permit applications online.
ProjectDox steps:
- Select the correct application, based on the permit needed.
- Email the completed application to [email protected]
- You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on payments and how to upload plans.
- Log into Electronic Plan Review/ProjectDox and upload documents per instructions. NOTE: Only applicants (one person only) will have access.
Plan uploading requirements:
- Fees must be paid before plan submission
- Upload drawing pages, engineered plans and site plans as single-page pdfs, in landscape format, labeled in sequential order (starting with 001) with page titles. Example: 001 site plan, 002 cover sheet, 003 elevations, etc.
- Upload supporting documents (engineering, calculations, truss packets, etc.) in the same documents folder as full documents pdfs.

NOTE: New structures, additions or remodels built outside of an existing structure require a letter from Clean Water Services (for properties on sewer) or approval from Health and Human Services (for properties on septic).
